DESCRIPTION:The OASPA 2025 annual conference will take place at Irish College Leuven\, Belgium from 22 – 24 September 2025. \nRegistration is now open! – please register here. \n  \nPreliminary conference programme is now available.\nOASPA’s annual conference is the only event that brings together the whole of the open access community\, accelerating connection\, discovery and new thinking. Our 2025 conference will focus on the complexities we know we face in asking how we achieve a future with 100% open access. \nCollectively we will consider the key questions that arise from pursuing this goal\, for example\, can pursuit of the goal itself distract us from quality\, sustainability and inclusivity in scholarly communications? Should 100% even be the goal and what do we mean by it? \nHow do we address the crucial underlying issues to tackle in our research culture and with research integrity? Does a focus on transitioning from paywalled to open access content detract from the efforts of those already delivering 100% open access? And how is the wider geopolitical landscape impacting our ambitions?
